The new season of the Master 30 8v8 league kicked off with a thriller as EasyChamp took on Atenas Pocito in a nine-goal spectacle. Despite incredible dedication from the squad, EasyChamp fell just short in a 4-5 defeat that could have gone either way.
Artem Baranovskyi led the charge with a brace, showcasing his sharp finishing. Gabi and Aaron also found the net, giving EasyChamp a fighting chance throughout the match. But Atenas Pocito proved relentless — C. Calcagno scored twice, D. Potenta matched him with a double of his own, and M. Leo added the decisive fifth.
It was a tough result for a team that showed real heart. The players gave everything on the field — a 4-5 scoreline is never easy to swallow, especially when you're fighting back all game. The dedication was clear, but it just wasn't enough on the night.
